When you are in love of Buenos Aires (like me), not only because it is an incredible city but because brings beautiful memories of my childhood, whenever there is an opportunity to go, you just go. This time only one day, no plans or expectations more than perhaps discovering something new and have a great quality time with my sister in law.
There are a few things that you must do while in Buenos Aires: drinking wine, eating meat, dancing tango and do some shopping but my favourite part: visiting the trendy and bohemian neighbourhoods.
So, we wake up nice and early, enjoy traditional breakfast and we headed out to San Telmo.
Cuando te encanta Buenos Aires (como a mi), no sólo porque es una ciudad increíble sino porque me trae muchos recuerdos de mi infancia, apenas hay una oportunidad para ir, ahí estoy. Esta oportunidad sólo por un día, sin planes ni expectativas mayores a tal vez descubrir algo nuevo y pasarla lindo con mi cuñada.
Hay algunas cosas que de todas maneras debes hacer en Buenos Aires: tomar vino, comer carnes, bailar tango e ir de compras pero mi parte favorita es pasear por los barrios bohemios y trendy.
Así que nos levantamos temprano, tomamos un típico desayuno y nos fuimos para San Telmo.
Actually, the best day to go is on a Sunday to get to catch their famous flea and antique market (be aware that it is impossible not to buy something). Anyway (as it is not Sunday), I know there is something there I will fall in love with.
And there it is! something new (for me, as it is almost 8 years since the last time in Argentina), and something I felt in love with! Gabriel del Campo Antique Shop.
I could not stop smiling and now you will see why: old fashion items, religious objects, toys, art pieces, classic designers furniture, mannequins, WINGS! I even found my favourite chair, remember?.

De hecho, el mejor día para visitar San Telmo es el Domingo para poder ver su famoso mercado de pulgas y feria de antigüedades (de la que es imposible salir con las manos vacías). De todos modos (como no es Domingo) yo sé que ahí hay algo de lo que me voy a enamorar.
Y ahí está! algo nuevo (para mí, ya que son casi 8 años desde la última vez que estuve en Argentina), y algo de lo que me enamoré! el Anticuario Gabriel del Campo.
No pude dejar de sonreír y ahora vas a ver por qué: artículos de moda, objetos religiosos, juguetes, piezas de arte, muebles clásicos de diseñador, maniquíes, ALAS! Hasta encontré mi silla favorita, recuerdas?.
